Nickell Cheruku - Chief Executive Officer and Founder
Nickell Cheruku formed Principle Group in 2009 as a privately funded company. His express purpose was to develop and support software that would simplify the complex task of managing SAP software changes and project developments. He was the original developer of Principle InfoTech’s flagship product, Luxon and the key concept designer behind it.
Prior to founding Principle Group, Nickell honed his own programming knowledge and leadership skills as a programming team leader. During this time he acquired great skill with SAP ABAP/4. He has worked with SAP applications of all types since 1997 and developed a deep understanding of SAP change control requirements. He also studied market needs as they related to SAP change management software requirements. He realized that, as dependence grew on SAP-based solutions to keep information flowing and accessible, the need for a tightly integrated change management technology would grow rapidly.
Jeremy Hoffman – Vice President of Operations
With over twenty years of proven experience in Program, Project and Operational Management, Jeremy Hoffman provides a unique blend of leadership, vision, and knowledge. His broad based functional background with his proven ability to maximize organizational effectiveness and his experience in launching new strategic initiatives while providing strong guidance and leadership, contributes to his role as the Vice President of Operations at Principle Group.
Jeremy has held executive leadership roles in many organizations such as General Dynamics Information Technologies and Rapid Jack Solutions. He demonstrated his ability to oversee, manage and improve project operations of numerous multi-million-dollar programs that included the Air Force, Army, United States Marine Corp and Physical Security Global Operations.
Jeremy joined Principle Group in February 2018 to lead the effort in launching Principle Group’s Engineering and Construction Division. Coupling these abilities with Principle’s long-standing experience in the Information Technology arena has made Principle Group a well-rounded Government solutions service provider.
In addition to his role as the Vice President of Operations, he also sets on the board for the You Can Foundation which is a non-profit organization that provides financial, educational, inspirational and motivational assistance to underprivileged teenagers and young adults that live or have lived their childhood life outside of the traditional structures of a mother and/or father lead household. Jeremy is also an active member at Life Church and enjoys spending time with his wife Heidi and his three daughters, Jami, Hayli, Hannah and granddaughter Gracelyn.
Tim Ventura – Director of Construction Operations
As an accomplished and results-driven business executive with twenty-five years of broad based expertise leading effective strategy, team leadership, relationship management, and revenue growth in support of highly successful companies, Mr. Ventura has an extensive inception to completion history of countless multi-million-dollar projects in the environmental, underground and vertical construction arenas. Tim has a recognized record of success marked by superior levels of revenue development for organizations such as Syncron, 3DExcite, ESI NA, and Terra Contracting.
Mr. Ventura is the Director of Construction Operations at Principle Group. As an effective communicator who leverages true passion and a steadfast commitment to excellence, Tim joined the Principle Group Team in early 2018 to assist in building the foundation of Principle’s Engineering and Construction Division.
As the Director of Construction Operations, Mr. Ventura leverages a consultative approach to gain insight into the requirements and challenges facing each key project stakeholder; examines customer data, builds value assessments, and identifies areas of opportunities to provide customized solutions aligned with the unique needs of each client customer.
James Ryan – Project Manager
As a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, James Ryan brings over twenty years of Information Technology and Project Management experience to Principle Group. Over the course of his career, James has established a reputation for delivering results on a series of projects including logistics support, management training, IT, and project management, developing an overall approach for getting things done when there is no roadmap to follow.
Before entering the Information Technology field, James worked in the Cryptologic Support Depot at Security Hill at Lackland AFB where he provided logistics support for the NSA Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) community. In the 1990’s, James designed and implemented a groundbreaking website on the NSA secure network to increase efficiency and dramatically improve security of TS/SCI information exchange between classified sites around the world and the Cryptologic Support Depot. After a successful launch of this secured program, it was proven to decrease the transmission time of detailed status updates from 1-2 weeks to a few hours. While on Security Hill, James was also a Program Manager within the Air Force Total Quality Management (TQM) program where he personally trained hundreds of civil service and military personnel. James was certified by the Air Force to administer the TQM training course that included emphasis on customer focus, communication, process-centered approach, and continuous improvement, among other principles.
Before joining Principle Group, James was the project manager at the Air Force Security Forces Center at Lackland AFB, overseeing a team of 25 personnel developing and maintaining the Air Force’s Security Forces Management Information System (SFMIS) and Working Dogs Management System (WDMS).
Ryan Odegaard – Compliance/Proposal Manager
As a seasoned Compliance and Proposal Manager, Ryan Odegaard has over fifteen years of experience within the engineering, construction, and environmental industries. Ryan has extensive knowledge and understanding of the federal procurement process and has worked with several United States service branches such as Army, Air Force, and Navy as well as various government agencies such as the Department of State, Veteran Affairs, Foreign Agencies along with local City and State Government entities.
Mr. Odegaard’s career has been focused on working with small businesses to improve their contracting abilities through the authoring of federal government contract proposals where he effectively and consistently delivered brand recognized submittals and capability statements. Throughout his profession as a Senior Proposal Manager, Ryan has managed proposal teams responsible for winning numerous multi-million-dollar construction and engineering contracts valuing more than $400 million dollars.
Joining the Principle Group Team in early 2018, Ryan has help support the effort in launching Principle’s Engineering and Construction Division. Through capture and proposal of federal contracting opportunities, Ryan has leveraged his abilities to deliver the Principle Group brand. While taking on more responsibilities in his role, he has started providing leadership as a project manager for ongoing active projects.
